Our experience in the Packaging Industry began in 1963 with the start up of a major film  producer in Stratford, Connecticut.  We assisted with the installation of equipment, start up, Technical Service, Quality Control and the sale of polypropylene film to the Converting and End User markets. From 1969 until 1983 we worked in the Converting industry marketing printed and laminated substates to the food and industrial markets. From 1983 through 1985 we worked with several major offshore film producers to develop sales in the USA.  In 1985 we narrowed our focus to selling polypropylene and polyester films produced in South Korea. In 1986 we purchased slitting equipment and continue to offer custom and contract slitting to the industry. In 1991 we added sale of oriented nylon film to the Converting industry. In 1997 we purchased and began operation of wide web, 6 color flexographic printing equipment as a compliment to our slitting business.

 

Today; the Film Project, inc. concentrates it's effort to selling polyester and nylon  films manufactured in Korea,  by Kolon Industries, one of the world's largest producers of these films. We offer warehousing in many cities in the USA to assure our customers quick and on time delivery of needed product. We also offer both Technical Service and Customer Service in an effort to assist our customers with any questions pertaining to shipment or use of our films.
